Duncan Mutulu

Duncan Mutulu is VisionSpring's Global Director, Supply Chain. He brings more than 20 years of progressive supply chain leadership across Africa and beyond, with a career defined by large-scale transformation: redesigning multi-country distribution networks, integrating digital planning tools, and building the operational systems that connect products to the people who need them.

Duncan joins VisionSpring from Bayer Crop Science, where he led end-to-end operations across 20 countries and helped grow seed and crop protection revenue to $450M annually. He has held senior supply chain roles at Monsanto, Henkel, and Nestlé, managing logistics and procurement portfolios of up to $62M in spend. He is known for his hands-on expertise in global sourcing across diverse markets, his passion for data-driven insights that support sales success, and his ability to deliver results in resource-constrained environments. He is also a dedicated people leader who invests in the growth of his teams.

Duncan will soon complete his PhD in Business from Machakos University, Kenya. He holds an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry from Moi University, and has published academic research on supply chain design.

Outside of work, he is passionate about community empowerment and environmental conservation.
