In an innovative Wholesale Partnership, VisionSpring and Population Services International (PSI) have joined forces to provide low-cost eyeglasses to virtually all sub-Saharan African countries. The partnership leverages PSI's vast pharmaceutical distribution infrastructure and local marketing knowledge with VisionSpring's expertise in designing high-quality, low-cost glasses specifically for developing markets.

A fully self-sustaining endeavor, the initiative has already made low-cost glasses available for the first time in Ethopia, Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia and will soon scale up to provide hundreds of thousands with affordable glasses.
